Ver\u00f6ffentlicht \u00fcber Polydor Records, stand das Album f\u00fcr eine Phase der Neuorientierung: personelle Ver\u00e4nderungen innerhalb der Band trafen auf die strukturelle Sicherheit eines Major-Labels. Farben und Formen wirken bewusst artifiziell, fast grafisch konstruiiert. Das Bild verweigert eine eindeutige Perspektive; Identit\u00e4t erscheint nicht als festes Portr\u00e4t, sondern als flirrende Oberfl\u00e4che.
